Finding programs, courses, readings that are in an area of particular interest will give one the opportunity to increase knowledge of the profession or specific aspects. The drawback to informal education provisions is that there is not a recognizable diploma or certificate on completion. At various stages of one's career this is more or less important. Caveat emptor.
